Ideation

The beginning of an ideation process is taken up by good preparation and a thourough understanding of what it is all about. Without knowing setting and objective you can be creative, but it is a steep climb.

After understanding comes exploding and playing. Everything goes in all directions and everything works. This phase is also a phase of fertilization. Because everyone in the room learns from everyone else and receives so many new clues that creativity increases exponentially.

When it becomes a little quiet, the fields of ideas that are to be pursued crystallize. The first thought spaces are created, which are connected to the original intention and can be imagined in an existing reality by the people in the room. The facilitator should allow this to happen and at the same time make sure that neither too much conventional material enters the idea space, nor that people become complacent with their idea finding.

Selecting and condensing is a simple phase towards the end. Yet the last step is exciting. Because only condensing is negligent. What the selected ideas need is polishing. How good is an idea we have agreed upon. Let's look at it in the light of the mercilessly functioning market reality. This last step s necessary to bring the process to a worthy and valuable end.
